Attention Home Buyers and Sellers.
New Changes in the Real Estate Market—Starting August 17th!
Here’s what you need to know:
BUYER REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT:
Starting August 17th, we will present every buyer with a Buyer Representation Agreement before beginning their home search and showing them homes. This agreement will ensure they get the highest quality support and advocacy in their home purchase and is also designed to provide peace of mind.
WHAT’S IN THE BUYER’S AGREEMENT?
The Buyer’s Agreement clearly outlines your real estate agent’s role, duties, responsibilities, and how commissions will be handled. For example, it might specify that your agent is responsible for finding suitable properties, negotiating the best price, and handling all paperwork. Commissions can be covered by either the buyer or the seller, and your real estate agent will provide detailed information.
COMMISSION PAYMENTS:
Rules will prohibit advertising commission rates on the MLS, but rest assured, commissions are still negotiable. Your real estate agent will work with you to understand and decide what works best for your unique situation.
WHY IT MATTERS:
With these new changes, the role of the right Real Estate Agent becomes more crucial than ever. Having a professional by your side will be the key to a smooth and successful home purchase, providing you with the confidence and support you need.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU.
Our commitment is to provide our clients with the highest service and expertise customized to your unique needs and preferences.
Please feel free to reach out for more information and how the changes may impact you.
